And that’s the starting point; there are also white supremacists, and even some neo-Nazis. There were actually some Nazi swastika flags in Charlottesville. Whether or not they were being genuinely carried, or carried by agents provocateurs trying to embarrass the alt-right isn’t even important. They were there — and Spencer’s torch-lit walk had other Nazi symbology, including the "Sieg Heil" arm salute, and the chant of “blood and soil” — which was a slogan popularized by the Nazis.

Sorry, that’s not conservative, that's just racist, and I think it’s unpatriotic to mimic one of America’s greatest historical enemies. Spencer released an explicitly racist manifesto in Charlottesville. If pressed, Spencer positively admits he is not conservative; he does not believe in individualism; he is a communalist, an economic socialist, but most importantly, someone who believes your race is your key characteristic.

We disagree. We believe that character and ideas and actions are more important than skin colour, or for that matter sex or sexual orientation. You can be a smart, thoughtful conservative who is black, gay, Jewish, whatever — and you can be a foolish, unethical, violent Communist who is white. In fact, there are quite a lot of them.

White Nationalists Do Not Represent Anyone Other Than Themselves

kkk.jpg

By Jim Sterling

With pitchforks and torches in hand, a mob of white nationalists has organized in Charlottesville, Virginia, leading authorities to declare a state of emergency. Okay–they didn’t actually have pitchforks and their torches were of the tiki variety, but when you’re equipping your hate rally at the local Walmart, you work with what you can find.

What’s revealing about this mob is not that there are a few hundred angry white people in the south yearning for the days of Old Dixie–that’s pretty normal. What’s revealing about this mob has been the way the left and left-leaning media have used this group of hateful malcontents to tar a huge segment of the American population.

Such is the volatile mixture of media and populism. The news media feeds on fear and sensationalism. Populism uses that fear and turns it into political movements. Wash, rinse, repeat. Both populist political factions and the sensationalist media need each other. Both make the other into larger than life forces that they tell us we must oppose. But in reality, each only commands the power we as a society give to them.

The hate mongers and zealots organizing in Charlottesville do not represent the right wing, the Republican Party, or Trump supporters. The clash happening there between nationalists and counter protesters does not represent America. It’s simply two of our most annoying and embarrassing elements feeding into each other’s delusions and biases.

Likewise, the mainstream left is not represented by BLM protestors blocking highways or people chanting about killing cops. Toxic, extreme elements exist on both sides of the spectrum. It’s populism and media sensationalism that makes them seem larger than they are. In fact, painting everyone who disagrees with you as an extremist is a great way to bolster extremism. This is a lesson the left has yet to learn and a mentality that significantly contributed to the election of Donald Trump.

The best way to deal with extremism in this country is to marginalize it. That means ignoring it to a large extent. Of course, in the age of digital non-stop news and career activism, that’s not likely to happen. At some point, the rational, middle of the road Americans will have to reclaim control of our national discourse or the frayed edges of our societal fabric will spread.

Fascism establishes the real equality of individuals before the nation… the object of the regime in the economic field is to ensure higher social justice for the whole of the Italian people… What does social justice mean? It means work guaranteed, fair wages, decent homes, it means the possibility of continuous evolution and improvement. Nor is this enough. It means that the workers must enter more and more intimately into the productive process and share its necessary discipline… As the past century was the century of capitalist power, the twentieth century is the century of power and glory of labour.

-Benito Mussolini

In a 1921 speech in Bologna (Italy), Mussolini stated, "Fascism was born... out of a profound, perennial need of this our Aryan and Mediterranean race".[13] Mussolini was concerned with the low birth rates of the white race in contrast to the African and Asian races. In 1928 he noted the high birth-rate of blacks in the United States, and that they had surpassed the population of whites in certain areas, such as Harlem in New York City. He described their greater racial consciousness in comparison with American whites as contributing to their growing strength.[14]

In a 1919 speech denouncing Soviet Russia, Mussolini claimed that Jewish bankers in London and New York City were bound by the chains of race to Moscow and that 80% of the Soviet Union leaders were Jews.[13]

On the issue of the low birth rate of whites, Mussolini said in 1928: "[When the] city dies, the nation – deprived of the young life-blood of new generations – is now made up of people who are old and degenerate and cannot defend itself against a younger people which launches an attack on the now unguarded frontiers [...] This will happen, and not just to cities and nations, but on an infinitely greater scale: the whole White race, the Western race can be submerged by other coloured races which are multiplying at a rate unknown in our race."[15]

During the Great Depression Mussolini again expressed his alarm at the low birth rate among whites, saying "The singular, enormous problem is the destiny of the white race. Europe is truly towards the end of its destiny as the leader of civilization."[14] He went on to say that under the circumstances, "the white race is sickly", "morally and physically in ruin", and that, in combination with the "progress in numbers and in expansion of yellow and black races, the civilization of the white man is destined to perish."[14] According to Mussolini, only through promoting natality and eugenics could this be reversed.[14]

In 1933, Mussolini contradicted his earlier statements on race, saying, "Race! It is a feeling, not a reality: ninety-five percent, at least, is a feeling. Nothing will ever make me believe that biologically pure races can be shown to exist today. ... National pride has no need of the delirium of race."[16]

Malo mi to nategnuta tvrdnja... Inače, izgleda da nije naročito voleo ni ove "aurorovske istine" :D

Everything I have said and done in these last years is relativism by intuition. If relativism signifies contempt for fixed categories and those who claim to be the bearers of objective immortal truth … then there is nothing more relativistic than Fascist attitudes and activity.

White nationalist Richard Spencer: Trump 'didn't condemn us,' and 'only a dumb person' would take his statement seriously

"I don't think he condemned it, no," Spencer said. "Did he say 'white nationalist?' 'Racist' means an irrational hatred of people. I don't think he meant any of us.'"

Да није уврнуто, било би смешно.

God does not exist—religion in science is an absurdity, in practice an immorality and in men a disease.

Mnogo zanimljivije od ovih doskočica je na primer koliko se slagao sa današnjom mejnstrim ekonomijom (levičarskom):

Fascism entirely agrees with Mr. Maynard Keynes, despite the latter's prominent position as a Liberal. In fact, Mr. Keynes' excellent little book, The End of Laissez-Faire (l926) might, so far as it goes, serve as a useful introduction to fascist economics. There is scarcely anything to object to in it and there is much to applaud.

  •          As quoted from Mussolini's review of Keynes' new book in Universal Aspects of Fascism, James Strachey Barnes, Williams and Norgate, London: UK, (1928) pp. 113-114
