Звонко, не знам колико си Иранаца успео да упознаш до сада. Ја их знам подоста и могу ти рећи да сам прилично позитивно изненађен. Међу њима има и нерелигиозних и дубоко религиозних, али једно им је заједничко - сви се противе (неки чак и активно, због чега трпе последице) политици своје земље, не само садашњој, него од револуције, па на овамо. Иранци, они аутентични, су генерално, по мом искуству, много толерантнији од, рецимо, Турака. Да ствар буде занимљивија, Турци су често муслимани само онолико колико је то корисно за њихово национално питање, док су Иранци много искренији верници. И Турци су делије, али онда кад нису националисти, а то није баш чест случај. Упознао сам муслимане из још понеких блискоисточних земаља, али са Иранцима имам најпозитивније искуство.

To ne može niko pripisati muslimanima i ako postoji kakav viodeo snimak na njemu može biti ili neka budala ili se pravi da je musliman.

Библију на Западу па и овде код нас су спаљивали (другови и Тито) и раније ....

мислим да то највише говори културолошком  степену толеранције једне цивилизације али и потврду речи апостола Павла "„Никоме не узвраћајте зло за зло; настојте добро чинити пред свима људима“ (Рим 12,17) као и ап. Петра "не узвраћајте зло за зло или увреду за увреду, него напротив, благосиљајте, јер сте на то позвани - да наследите благослов.  Јер »ко хоће да воли живот и да види добре дане, нека задржи свој језик од зла и усне своје - да не говоре превару, нека се уклони од зла и нека чини добро, нека тражи мир и нека иде за њим; јер Господње очи мотре на праведнике и уши његове слушају њихову молитву, а лице Господње је против оних који чине зло«." 1Пет 3,9-12

Saudi Arabia Desecrates Hundreds of Bibles Annually

Washington DC - The Saudi government burns and desecrates hundreds of bibles its security forces confiscate after raids on Christian expatriates worshiping privately or at border crossings.

As a matter of official policy, the government either incinerates or dumps bibles, crosses and other Christian paraphernalia.

Hundreds of Christian worshipers are arrested every year by Saudi police in raids on their private gatherings. Bibles, crosses and printed materials are confiscated and later burnt or dumped into trash. Bibles and other Christian paraphernalia found with travelers into the country are confiscated and destroyed.

Although considered as holy in Islam and mentioned in the Koran dozens of times, the Bible is banned in Saudi Arabia, and is confiscated and destroyed by government officials.

Recently, there has been a crackdown on symbols of Christianity in Saudi Arabia. On April 21st Saudi authorities raided a make-shift church in Riyadh and arrested 40 Christians. Many Christian religious symbols, such as crucifixes and bibles were later destroyed by Saudi security forces.

When it was revealed last week that a copy of the Koran had allegedly been desecrated by American military personnel at Guantanomo Bay, the Saudi government voiced its strenuous disapproval of such activities. More specifically, the Saudi Embassy in Washington articulated “great concern and urged Washington to conduct a quick investigation”. The Saudi government has also recommended to the American government to install “deterring measures” so that an incident such as this would not be repeated. The Saudi government would not comment on their policy of desecrating bibles that had been seized from foreign nationals.

Interestingly though, desecration of religious texts and symbols and intolerance of varying religious viewpoints and beliefs has been the official policy inside of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Ruled by a Wahhabi theocracy for some time now, the ruling elite of Saudi Arabia have made it difficult for many Western religions, as well as dissenting sects of Islam, to visibly coexist inside of the kingdom.

Another way in which religious and cultural issues are becoming more divisive is the Saudi treatment of Americans who are living in their country. As of today there around 30,000 Americans living and working in various parts of Saudi Arabia, who are not allowed to visibly celebrate their religious and even secular holidays if they are not of the Wahhabi faith. This includes holidays such as Christmas and Easter but also such secular holidays as Thanksgiving. All surrounding Gulf States allow non-Islamic holidays to be celebrated with the exception of Saudi Arabia.

The American State Department had no comment on this issue.

Christians in Gaza Fear for Their Lives as Muslims Burn Bibles and Destroy Crosses

After defeating their rivals in Palestinian Authority Mahmoud Abbas' Fatah movement, Muslim extremists are focusing their attacks on Christians in Gaza City. Christians in Gaza City have issued an appeal to the international community and a plea for protection against the increased attacks by Muslim extremists.

Father Manuel Musallem, head of Gaza's Latin church, told the AP that Muslims have ransacked, burned and looted a school and convent that are part of the Gaza Strip's small Romany Catholic community. He told the AP that crosses were broken, damage was done to a statue of Jesus, and at the Rosary Sister School and nearby convent, prayer books were burned.

Gunmen used the roof of the school during the fighting, and the convent was "desecrated," Mussalem told the AP.

"Nothing happens by mistake these days," he said.

Father Musalam additionally told The Jerusalem Post that the Muslim gunmen used rocket-propeled grenades (RPGs) to blow through the doors of the church and school, before burning Bibles and destroying every cross they could get their hands on.

Catholic Online reports that the heads of Christian churches in the Holy Land have urged both sides to put aside their weapons, noting that the infighting diverted international attention from the national goal of Palestinian independence.

"This domestic fighting where brother draws his weapon against brother is detrimental to all the aspirations of achieving security and stability for the Palestinian people," they said. "In the name of the one and only God as well as in the name of each devastated Palestinian, many of whom are still dying, we urge our brothers in the Fatah and Hamas movements to listen to the voice of reason, truth and wisdom."

One young woman told the Catholic News Service that she was concerned the Islamic extremists would "enforce a strict dress code, forcing women to wear veils and robes." One Christian teenager spoke to the Catholic News Service on the condition that her name not be used. She said the days of fighting had been "very difficult" but they were "OK now."

Near Faisalabad, Muslim extremists desecrated a church and burnt a Bible. Local Muslims come out in support of the devastated Christians.

Desecration at the church of St. Paul in the village ‘Chak 77-RB’, ‘Lohekay’, about 30 kilometers from Faisalabad: on December 17, suspects burned a bible and other sacred texts, leaving a letter threatening Christians that they will "burn in the fire of hell" if they do not convert to Islam.

Pervez Masih tells AsiaNews that on that day, he and others were whitewashing and decorating the little church for Christmas. They stopped at noon for lunch, leaving the church open. When they returned, they found the bible and other sacred texts reduced to ashes, and a handwritten letter telling them to convert to Islam if they wanted to "live in peace" and avoid hell. In Pakistan, there is significant controversy over the law on blasphemy, condemning even to death those who offend the sacred book of Islam, the Qur'an. But nothing is done against blasphemous acts toward the books of other religions.

Fr. Yagoob Yousaf arrived in the village that same evening, having been told about the sacrilege. He celebrated Mass in the church (in the photo), and in the homily, he condemned the sacrilege and the threats, and told the faithful to remain calm and peaceful and not to be afraid, because the police have promised the highest vigilance. He said that Christ preached love and peace, and the government would see to guaranteeing security for the Christians for the Holy Nativity. In recent years, at Christmas, there have been attacks against Catholic and Protestant churches. Often the Christmas celebrations have taken place under police protection.

He observes that "this is a high holy season for all Christians and they are preparing themselves for Christmas but such type of incidents are creating fear and is a move to disturb Christians in the season of Advent."

Most of the people in the village are Muslim, and there are between 50 and 70 Christian families. The church is used by Catholics and Protestants, without conflict. When they became aware of the sacrilege, many Muslims went to the church together with the Christians. Now the police are investigating the "suspects" for the crime of blasphemy.

Kao što brat Aga napisa ono što napisa o kulturološkom stepenu čovjeka i poslije toga navede citate iz biblije koji nedvosmisleno zabranjuju ono što je taj jadni zalutali svečenik namjeravao da uradi to nedvosmisleno govori da to nema veze sa hrišćanstvom pa makar to djelo uraDILO POLA ZEMLJE DANAŠNJIH HRIŠĆANA.

Знам ја то Енизе, али када су Иранци спаљивали стотине Библија нисмо видели демонстрације и нереде у исламском свету. Нити се демонстрира против терориста и других који "злоупотребљавају" Ислам.

brate bilo je kako nije bilo .Pročitaj otovreno pismo bin Ladenu kojeg je napisao jedan od najkonzervativnijih islamskih učenjaka ovoga vremena.To je više nego dovoljno.ali drugo je pitanje koje zajednički proganja i nas i vas a to je :ko to danas sluša učene ljude svoje vjere.

Ако се не варам, већ сам га једном поменуо у нашем разговору, али шта је то једно писмо брате? После толиких година, један човек, напише једно писмо... Нема демонстрација, побуна, нити се хиљаде муслимана покренуло да нађу тог Осаму који "скрнави Ислам" и предају га правди...

Са друге стране, због неког безначајног америчког пастора дигле се хиљаде људи на демонстрације, десетине људи повређено, неколико нажалост страдало итд. Некако нису пропорционалне те реакције.
