Post-rock is an absolute freedom in music, the abandonment of obsolete structures of compositions, the conservative approach to the rock music, annoyed and hackneyed ideas. Together with standard instruments the big set of secondary is used, such as violins, piano. Post-rock is a new world, a world of many colors, and what picture will be painted in your head depends mostly on your perception than on the music itself.

MONO was formed in 1999 in Tokyo, Japan. Since then, MONO has quickly piqued interests in both audience and critics alike by staging overwhelming, emotionally splendid, atmospheric performances.

Within the rage of distortion and bombardment of feedback, you are just as likely to experience sadness and beauty, light and darkness, chaos and peace, happiness and melancholy. It is MONO's ability to combine, intertwine and swing back and forth from two such opposite extremes to create an emotional phantasmagoria that makes this band worth experiencing.

Подразумева се. Ја преферирам мало мрачније и спорије мелодије, као и комбинацију таквог пост-рока са амбијенталном и класичном музиком али немојте мислити да се цела прича своди само на то. Но, ево нумере са једног од, по мом мишљењу, квалитетнијих албума. Читав албум је генијалан и носи назив "If We Get There One Day, Would You Please Open The Gates?"

I Hear Sirens is an American post-rock band that formed in the fall of 2005. Drawing inspiration from Indie Rock, Post-Hardcore and Ambient generes their sound seamlessly drifts between haunting melodies and climactic crescendos. The band currently consists of guitarist Daved Harris, bassist Adrienne Robson, keyboardist Eric Olofson and drummer David Qualls. Despite shifting lineups early in the project, their DIY attitude and strong appeal to fans have remained intact.

Collapse Under The Empire is an instrumental/post-rock band from Hamburg, Germany. The lineup consists of Martin Grimm (Guitars&Drums) and Chris Burda (Keys/Synthesizer&Drums). They formed in 2007 and released their debut album Systembreakdown (2009) on their own.

Most of the songs are alternating between electro-bleeps and powerful guitar explosions; it’s both disturbing and seductive. As with Collapse Under The Empire’s debut EP “Paintball“ they’ve succeeded their specific post rock sound, combining epic guitars with chilled electronic elements and a portion melancholic mood.

 

They stick to their own style and do not want to emerge as a knock-off. With their mixture of instrumental post-rock they are trying to make a cut above the uniform pulp and put their own stamp on it.

Претпостављам да мислиш на "Giants"... Преслушао сам и друге албуме групе Collapse Under the Empire и мој је утисак да им је албум на ком се налази ова нумера далеко зрелији и оригиналнији од свих осталих. Пре бих рекао да се ради о нашем укусу и, евентуално, навикама...
