John Woodmorappe

John Woodmorappe is a popular creationist author now widely known to be the pen name of Jan Peczkis.[1] Jan has a BA in Biology and MA in Geology from Northeastern Illinois University, and has been a long time public school teacher in Chicago Illinois.

He is a young earth creation scientist that has published prolifically in mainstream and creationist journals. He is perhaps best known for his work in the field of Biblical flood geology, which he published under the assumed pseudonym. He has successfully pointed out the flaws of radiometric dating methods, and has provided ample evidence to support the feasibility of the Biblical narrative of Noah's Ark.

Pseudonyms or nom de plumes are taken by authors for a variety of reasons to conceal their identity. Given the anticreation sentiment that permeates the scientific and public school systems, it is not suprising that creationists would feel the need to protect themselves from reprisal.

Dr. Bob Compton obtained his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine at Washington State University and a Ph.D. in Physiology at the University of Wisconsin/Madison. Jack Cuozzo

Dr. Jack Cuozzo is an orthodontist who practiced for over 30 years in Glen Ridge, NJ, after serving as a Lieutenant in the U.S. Navy aboard the USS Enterprise. He studied at Georgetown University, earning his biology major and philosophy minor, then went to the University of Pennsylvania to get his Doctor of Dental Science, and to Loyola University / Chicago Graduate School of Dentistry, where he earned his certificate of specialty in orthodontics.

In 1979, he began studying Neanderthal fossils with the aid of Wilton Krogman, who is known as the Father of Forensic Anthropology. He has written many books on human origins, and has continued to research Neanderthals. His paleontological studies were conducted on specimens at museums in Paris, England, Belgium, Jerusalem, East Berlin, Washington D.C., Chicago, Harvard University, Southern Methodist Universities, and Paleolithic caves in Southern France. He was the first to take radiographs of Neanderthal fossils.

Dr. Cuozzo was also the adjunct professor of biology at King's College working under Wayne Frair. He has published many books and articles on creation science, some of his best known being Buried Alive, he was one of the 50 scientists to contribute to the book In Six Days: Why Fifty Scientists Choose to Believe in Creation, and he was one of six authors to write When Christians Roamed The Earth.

Walter Bradley

Walter L. Bradley has a B.S. in Engineering Science and a Ph.D. in Materials Science from the University of Texas in Austin. He was married in 1965 to his wife Ann, and is now currently live in College Station, Texas. [1]

He has received 5 college level research awards and one national research award. He has published over 140 articles and book chapters. He has also coauthor "The Mystery Of Life's Origin." He is now a Professor of Engineering at Baylor University.

Walter Bradley is currently at Baylor University in Waco, Texas, where he serves as a distinguished professor of mechanical engineering. He has been there since 2002 and has focused his research to help under-developed nations, and the poorest people who live there. [2] For example, during his time at Baylor, he has worked to develop various means to convert coconut into products such as diesel fuel, particle board, and reinforcement for engineering plastics.

Education

Walter L. Bradley has been a discernible professor of mechanical engineering at Baylor University since 2002. He used to be a professor of mechanical engineering from 1976 to 2000 at Texas A&M University where he also was the department head and as director of the Polymer Technology Center . Bradley has made over 150 research publications such as book chapters, articles in the Journal of Material Science, Journal of Reinforced Plastics and Composites, Mechanics of Time-Dependent Materials, Journal of Composites Technology and Research, Composite Science and Technology, Journal of Metals, Polymer Engineering and Science, and Journal of Materials Science, and refereed conference proceedings. Michael Oard

Michael J. Oard (Meteorologist) received his Masters of Science degree in Atmospheric Science from the University of Washington. He has recently retired from the (US) National Weather Service where he worked as a meteorologist/weather forecaster, and now dedicates much of his time to creation science research. Since 2001 he has served on the board of directors of the Creation Research Society.

Mike is a prolific author who has published numerous books and papers and in his field in widely recognized journals. He also travels all over the country for regular speaking engagements at creationist conferences and meetings. Mike Oard particularly specializes in topics such as evidence for Noah's flood, the Ice Age, and the mass extinction of the Wooly Mammoths.

André Eggen

André Eggen is native born to the French community. He has a Ph.D. in Animal and Molecular Genetics from the Federal Institute of Technology in Zurich, Switzerland, 1992. Since graduation, he has been working for the French government in the field of scientific studies and research. He was only out of France for two years, when he traveled to the U.S. to do research there.

Only 20%-30% of the French population claims that there is a God, and states that they hold a belief in a higher power. But only 2% of those are Christian-based faiths. Luckily, Eggen was brought up in a Christian home, but at the ages of 12-13 he started to learn about the Evolutionary theory. If you bring forth another 319.gif, or challenge that evolution may not be the correct answer to life, you will be in danger of getting in trouble. Even the churches in France are falling into trouble with juggling the Bible and the accepted evolutionary theories. Pastors are even trying to become more accommodating of evolutionary thought, in hopes that it would lure more of the community into coming to the church.

When asked about learning Evolution when he was a Christian Eggen responded: "When I was about 12–13, the conflict began. If the Bible was true, then it was clear that God created in six ordinary days, but that was completely contradicted by what I was being told at school. So I had a hard time accepting the Bible, and went further away from the Bible as I reached high school. By the age of 17, I knew that I had to make a decision, so during the summer I took several books on the topic of evolution/creation to study the subject carefully and to reach my own conclusions. Several of these books helped me to see that I could comfortably believe in biblical creation from a scientific point of view. This was a huge discovery for me, and it pushed me to become a Christian."

It was a huge stumbling block for André Eggen, to learn about evolution, while his belief was so steadfast on Christianity. In France, it was especially difficult because Evolutionary thought is taught as if it were concrete fact. Children are left with no other alternative belief because of this unforunate factor.

Currently, André Eggen is involved in research for the French government. Currently he is researching up on cattle genetics. Eggen says he is, "Trying to find out why some cows give more milk than others, why some cows have horns and others don’t, and genetic diseases." The mindset of many of scientists is that you can not be a "real" scientist and be a Creationist at the same time. Eggen found that when he worked for the 2 years here in America, that they were a good amount more respectful than the Scientists he would deal with in his home land. Eggen is involved primarily in the field of genetics. When he reflects on how people believe in the 'Big Bang' and random mutations he can not believe they would agree that such a complexity could simply fall together by chance.

Eggen comments on how God proves himself through Eggen's field of study: "Being a creationist, I found it fascinating to study what God did in six days, particularly in my field, genetics. I find it marvelous to discover how God used the genetic codes to inscript life—so brilliant, so amazing."

He continues to talk about what exactly the probability of random genetic arrangement:"If you take an entire DNA molecule, coding for all the proteins required for life, I think it’s about 1 followed by 40,000 zeros (which is really no chance) that such coded DNA can arise by chance."

André Eggen isn't only trying to impact that scientific community, but he is also starting an outreach in the Christian community.

Eggen talks about the difference he wants to make and the course of action that is required: "To go to churches and tell folk that you can take Genesis just as it is written, and explain how important it is. If we don’t take Genesis literally, then we lose completely the meaning of the Bible—why Jesus came to earth, suffered on a cross, and died in our place, because of sin. The Church in France will remain impotent unless it understands the crucial importance of the first eleven chapters of Genesis for the entire message of Christianity."

Kelly Hollowell

Dr. Kelly Hollowell recieved her Ph.D. in molecular and cellular pharmacology from the University of Miami, and her juris doctorate (J.D.) from Regent University. Dr. Hollowell has since worked as an adjunct professor of bioethics, research assistant, a forensic toxicologist, assistant director of technical analysis, science consultant for various labs and companies, and an attorney-at-law.

Dr. Hollowell is currently Senior Strategist for Bioethics for the Center for Reclaiming America. Her qualifications have provided her evidence to respond to questions regarding abortion, stem cell research, and other various moral studies. She is founder and executive director of Science Ministries, Inc. and has a weekly column in WorldNetDaily.

Kelly Hollowell's education and opinion has made a large impact with both the Christian community as well as the secular community. Her articles and opinions have appeared in The National Liberty Journal, The Virginia Beach Pilot, The Richmond Times Dispatch, and The Journal of Neurobiology.

Dr. Hollowell has actively been fighting as a Creationist to show the importance of human life, and has responded with ethical questions that continue to stimulate questions and answers to what is morally right. John Johnson

John N. Johnson is the President of the Creation Association of Puget Sound.

He received a Ph.D. in Applied Mathematics from the University of California at Berkeley. Dr. Johnson is retired from the Boeing Company where he was a mathematician developing computer algorithms for navigation, guidance and control for 31 years.

He has also taught academic classes for over 20 years in creation science and Biblical archaeology, and has defended creation science in five college debates with evolutionist faculty as well as radio programs.

John Hartnett

Dr. John G. Hartnett studied at the University of Western Australia where he recieved both his B.Sc.(hons) and a Ph.D. in the department of physics. He worked there in the Frequency Standard and Metrology research department. His current work includes working with the European Space Agency's atomic clock ensemble in space.

Hartnett took interest in cosmology at a young age, and that interest led into many other scientific interests. He says, "At that time, I would have described myself as an atheist, believing that the big bang had all the answers, although there was actually very little in the way of specifics about the models. It was just that that drove me into further investigation"

John became a Christian while he was an undergraduate at the University of Western Australia. There he met with many other Christian men, where he was challenged to read Genesis 1. John says, "When i started reading it, it was like — wow, unbelievably amazing. Straight away it struck me that this could be completely consistent with the scientific evidence and the knowlege I had at that time. I was being converted into a creationist there and then."

Hartnett's main interests are in the development of ultra-stable cryongenically cooled microwave oscillators based upon the sapphire crystal, ultra low-noise radar, tests of fundamental thories of physics, and cosmological implications. John has a particular interest however in cosmology from a creationist perspective, including a theory stating there is no need for an assumption that claims the existence of dark matter in the universe. With this statement along with many others he has published over 100 journals and currently holds 2 patents.

John Hartnett has never been afraid to show his faith. In his seminars he always includes his point of view along with his strong beliefs in creation. He is known as an excellent communicator of Biblical creationism in his publications. Hartnett has developed models to explain the creation of the 'heavens' during the creation week; these models offer an answer to the question, "how can we see distant starlight, that is supposedly million of light-years away, in a young universe, which the Bible infers is only 6,000 years old?"

In his presentations and writings, Hartnett goes into his research with much detail and enthusiasm. But it all ends in one purpose, to show each person that God's word can be trusted in all things. Many people like to accuse Hartnett of denying reality. But John quickly explains to them that if you look at the universe, there is no difference then if you were to look at a fossil record. He states, "It's the interpretation of the evidence. Sure, distant stars and galaxies might be millions of light-years away, but that doesn't mean that it took the light millions of years, by our standards, to get here. A light-year is a measurement of distance, not time."

John Hartnett is currently working on a book with Alex Williams about the big bang and a creationists point of view on it.
