mali opit: neko je pomenuo cifru od 13.7 milijardi godina za postojanje Zemlje. sa najboljim instrumentom za "merenje" vremena, koji je trenutno vec zastareo i radi se na novom daleko savrsenijem, tolerancija u pitanju je oko 0.5%. kad neko vidi ovu cifru, rekao bi da je to zanemarljivo. matematicki potpuno tacno pivo

kad pretvorite u realno vreme ovu "toleraniciju" dolazimo do zakljucka da je to ustvari grubo receno 68 MILIONA GODINA !!!

margina greske jako dobro funkcionise kad su u pitanju cifre do oko 2500 godina. zasto, pa postoje zapisi koji potvrdjuju tacnost brojcanog iskaza na instrumentu, starost nekog materijala, odnosno kad je napravljen.

Многи не знају да је Дарвину утро пут Чарлс Лајел, зачетник геолошког униформизма( учења о дуготрајним геолошким процесима) који је у науци заменио претходни геолошки катастрофизам. Лајелове књиге су на Дарвина имале, по његовом сопственом признању, пресудан утицај што је и логично јер без хипотетичких милиона година његова теорија у старту губи сваки смисао. Иначе, сам Лајел уопште није био геолог по професији већ правник који је оставио адвокатуру да би се посветио геологији.

John Baumgardner

Dr. John R. Baumgardner has a B.S and M.S. in Electrical Engineering from Texas Tech University 1968, and M.S. in Electrical Engineering from Princeton University 1970. He also received M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Geophysics and Space Physics from UCLA - 1983. John works as a staff scientist in the Theoretical Division at Los Alamos National Laboratory, where he has continued his research in planetary mantle dynamics, including the potential for catastrophic mantle overturn. Dr Baumgardner’s current technical work at Los Alamos includes development of a new global ocean model for investigating climate change.

John accepted Christ while in graduate school at Princeton. after which he joined the staff of Campus Crusade for Christ. Observing the deliberate use of evolution to assault and destroy the faith of Christian college students, Dr Baumgardner began to develop and present classroom lectures and evening forums to expose evolution's false claims. Upon realizing that Noah's Flood involved a planetary-scale tectonic catastrophe, he left Campus Crusade to begin a Ph.D. program in geophysics at UCLA in order to obtain the expertise and credentials to address the problem of the mechanism of the Genesis Flood at a professional scientific level. His Ph.D. thesis research involved the development of a 3-D spherical-shell finite-element model for the earth's mantle, a program now known as TERRA.

He is also currently a member of the Radioisotopes and the Age of the Earth (RATE) committee and an adjunct faculty member of the Institute for Creation Research.

U.S. News and World Report called Dr. Baumgardner ‘the world’s preeminent expert in the design of computer convection.’

David Bergman

David L. Bergman has a BA in physics and an MS in Electrical Engineering from the University of California at Santa Barbara. He worked for 26 years on electronic systems development for the U.S. Air force where he designed radar-guided missiles and was the chief engineer on a 1 billion dollar weapon system called their “premier weapon”. He also worked for 19 years on elementary particle research.

David is the founder of Common Sense Science, a non-profit creation science organization which fosters research and education on matter. He is also the editor for the journal called “foundations of science”. He has published a number of papers related to atoms and sub-atomic particles. See an index of them here.

Walt Brown

Walter T. Brown is an American young earth creationist, who is the director of his own ministry called the Center for Scientific Creation. Brown has a PhD in mechanical engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He also served in the US military, from which he retired in 1980.

Brown wrote In the Beginning: Compelling Evidence for Creation and the Flood, in it he claims to provide evidence against evolution and for creation science and flood geology (including hydroplates). Divided into three sections the first explores discoveries made by scientists that Brown says do not fit the theory of evolution. The second section outlines various alternate explanations to geological and astronomical subjects such as the mid-oceanic ridge and comets which Brown asserts modern science cannot explain. The final third of the book presents a variety of other questions encountered in the creation-evolution controversy.

Dr. Walt Brown received a Ph.D. in mechanical engineering from Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) where he was a National Science Foundation Fellow. He has taught college courses in physics, mathematics, and computer science. Brown is a retired full colonel (Air Force), West Point graduate, and former Army ranger and paratrooper. Assignments during his 21 years in the military included: Director of Benet Research, Development, and Engineering Laboratories in Albany, New York; tenured associate professor at the U.S. Air Force Academy; and Chief of Science and Technology Studies at the Air War College. Since retiring from the military in 1980, Dr. Brown has been the Director of the Center for Scientific Creation and has worked full time in research, writing, and speaking on origins.

For much of his life, Walt Brown was an evolutionist, but after many years of study, he became convinced of the scientific validity of creation and a global flood. Walt Brown's book titled In the Beginning is a exhaustive thesis detailing the hydroplate theory, which provides badly needed substantiation and the mechanisms responsible for the global flood.

Born in Kansas City, MO, Brown grew up in the Methodist Church and went to United States Military Academy after high school. After graduating, he became an Army Ranger and earned a master’s degree in mechanical engineering from New Mexico State University. He went on to get a Ph.D. in mechanical engineering from MIT before serving in the Vietnam War. After returning home he worked at Benét Laboratories near Albany, New York before being hired by the United States Air Force Academy to teach mathematics and physics in 1970.

After hearing a radio program on Noah's Ark and talking to Jim Lee, a traveling lecturer on the subject, Brown became fascinated with the physics of how a boat that large might end up on top of a mountain over 14,000 feet high. If the Biblical Flood did it, where did the water come from and where did it go? By 1972, Brown had reversed his beliefs in theistic evolution, believing a global flood was the only logical explanation for the fossil record and the geologic column.

After five years at the Air Force Academy, Brown took a professorship at the Air War College at the Maxwell Air Force Base in Alabama, and after teaching for five years there retired from the Air Force and moved to Chicago in 1980 to pursue creationist studies. However, in 1984 a widely known creationist organization published a critical account of Brown’s work, which stifled most of his seminar support. In 1985, Brown decided to move to Phoenix to study geology at Arizona State University under Robert S. Dietz.

In 1988, Brown came to believe that the Grand Canyon, which he frequently visited, was carved by huge lakes whose waters suddenly broke through their natural dam. During this time Brown also began publishing his book, In the Beginning: Compelling Evidence for Creation and the Flood, discussing it regularly with Dr. Dietz. Brown continues as the Director of the Center for Scientific Creation and has been involved full time in research, writing, and speaking on origins

Raymond Bohlin

Dr. Raymond G. Bohlin received his Ph.D. in molecular and cell biology from the University of Texas at Dallas and the University of Illinois. He has presented to more than two dozen college and university campuses, addressing origins issues as well as other science-related topics such as the environment, genetic engineering, medical ethics, and sexually transmitted diseases.

He studies Literal or Recent Creation, Progressive or Day-Age Creationism, and Theistic Evolution. He is now the President of Probe Ministries. Probe Ministries is a non-profit ministry whose mission is to assist the church in renewing the minds of believers with a Christian worldview and to equip the church to engage the world for Christ.

Patrick Briney

Dr. Patrick Briney has Ph.D. in microbiology. He was indoctrinated with evolution throughout school and therefore an evolutionist and an athiest throughout his life. During his third year in college he abandoned his evolution position as a result of personal research of scientific literature dealing with the issues of creation and evolution. He saw that the Bible was right and that creation science offered a cohesive model of everything that exists, consistency with scientific laws, and a wide open field for pioneering investigators.

Patrick Briney is now a creation minister and speaker who has presented seminars on creation and evolution for over twenty years. He is a volunteer science teacher and the chairman for the science department of the Fayetteville Christian Schools. He gained experience in communicating and addressing contemporary issues by hosting a live, talk radio program called Opinion Line, and produced two weekly programs Smart Choices and Personal Testimonies. Dr. Briney also fields questions from around the world via the internet as the On-line Bible Answer Man.

Ken Cumming

Dr. Kenneth B. Cumming is a creation scientist with an M.A. and Ph.D. in biology. He graduated from Harvard University and was awarded with honors involving chemistry and biology at the school of Tufts University, Massachusetts. After being a faculty member of the different universities of Wisconsin, he then became the dean of the Institute of Creation Research Graduate School.

He is an author of many books on creation science, such as, "Settle It", "David's Bedside Command", "Good is the Word of the Lord", and many more. Dr. Cumming also contributed to the book titled In Six Days, which includes comments from 50 different scientists who believe in Creation. These scientists believe in combining the truth of their faith with the belief in scientific process and conclude that the earth was created in six days.

Werner Gitt

Dr. Werner Gitt has a doctorate in engineering summa cum laude from at the Technische Hochschule Aachen, or the University of Technology in Aachen. He is now retired as the director and professor, and Head of the Department of Information Technology, at the German Federal Institute of Physics and Technology.

Besides being a scientist, he is an active creation scientist. Dr. Gitt has done many talks relating to the Bible, a few being "After Death-What Then?" and "The Wonder of the Bible." He has also written many books, some of his most known are "In the Begining was Information", published in 1997, "If Animals Could Talk", published in 1990, and "Did God Use Evolution?" published in 1993. He has also published many articles in Creation Magazine, ranging from problems with theistic evolution (10 Dangers of Theistic Evolution), to whether cloning is wrong (Cloning: Right or Wrong).

Alan Gillen

Alan Gillen was born in Uniontown, Pennsylvania and lived there for 21 years.

Gillen started his work by assisting research in aquatic biology during 1967 and 1977. He received a Bachelors degree in Biology from the Washington & Jefferson College in 1978. For his graduate work, he moved to Ohio State University, publishing research in aquatic biology. He received his M. S. in Zoology from Ohio State in 1980.

From 1981-1984, Gillen worked as a graduate teaching assistant, instructing Preparatory Biology and Zoology. He then obtained a teaching certificate in Biology and Composite Science, teaching part-time while continuing his graduate studies at Baylor College of Medicine. He taught Honors Biology I and II, and Health as a science teacher in Worthing High School for 4 years, and was honored as a "Teacher of the Year" during 1986 and 1987. He then coordinated and taught science laboratory at the Shlenker School for 2 years. In 1990, he received an Ed. D. Science Education in Microbiology from the University of Houston.

From 1992 to 1996, Gillen taught research and development of cell biology and virology laboratory activities in the Microbiology & Immunology department of Baylor College of Medicine. While at Baylor, he helped develop the educational computer software applications MacSneeze™ and Common Cold Kit™ as tools for high school and junior college Biology instructors.

From 1997 to 2004, Gillen worked at Pensacola Christian College, primarily teaching, advising and working with Premed and Nursing students in Anatomy & Physiology, Microbiology, Parasitology, Professional Issues in Biology, General Biology (majors) and Survey of Biology (nonmajors).

Since 2004, Dr. Gillen has been on the teaching staff as a professor of biology at Liberty University. He has taught Human Anatomy and Physiology and is now teaching microbiology and biology seminar courses.

Dr. Gillen has also done considerable work editing and authoring biology textbooks for grade-school and college-level courses.
