Black Lives Matter NYC Leader Promises ‘Uprising’ Against City’s Vaccine Passports

                                 

 

One of the leaders of a Black Lives Matter group in New York City promised an “uprising” against the city’s COVID-19 vaccine passports, decrying the system as racist.

According to data provided by New York state, about 85 percent of black residents have not received one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine. Data provided by New York City shows that 64 percent of black people between the ages of 18 and 44 are not fully vaccinated while 56 percent have received one shot.

Hawk Newsome, the co-founder of Black Lives Matter of Greater New York, told the Washington Examiner that “I think, in a perfect world, [vaccine requirements] should be business by business. But it could be a slippery slope, so the mandate should be removed completely.”

He added: “It’s not gonna be white men in suits on Wall Street who are gonna get stopped. There’s such hypocrisy in this thing.”

Newsome said he believes that black Americans “have a natural distrust of the vaccine,” citing the Tuskegee Syphilis Study in the 20th century for a reason why.

“How dare they remove religious exemptions? It’s the most disrespectful thing I’ve ever seen,” Newsome said, adding that he believes that most vaccine mandates don’t allow religious exemption. “Now the government has decided your God doesn’t matter? I love God.”

 

New York Gov. Kathy Hochul, a Democrat, argued in a court filing this week that the state has no constitutional obligation to grant religious exemptions to COVID-19 vaccines for healthcare workers. Religious exemptions to the vaccines most commonly center on objections on how aborted fetal cells were used in the manufacturing and testing process. Medical exemptions usually include a doctor’s recommendation that a person not get the vaccine due to an underlying medical condition.

The Epoch Times has contacted Black Lives Matter of Greater New York for additional comment.

Another member of the group promised an “uprising” in New York City over the vaccine mandate.

“We’re putting this city on notice that your mandate will not be another racist social distance practice,” Chivona Newsome, a leader of the group, told fellow protesters during a demonstration in Manhattan in front of Carmine’s restaurant on Monday. “Black people are not going to stand by, or you will see another uprising. And that is not a threat. That is a promise.”

“The vaccination passport is not a free passport to racism,” she added.

Black Lives Matter activists had accused Carmine’s of racially profiling three black women from Texas, who were arrested last week after a hostess allegedly demanded vaccination proof.

 

A lawyer for Carmine’s denied their allegations.

“Any claim that they were racially profiled is a complete fabrication, disingenuous, and outright irresponsible,” Carolyn Richmond, the attorney for the restaurant, told the New York Daily News.

A prominent Black History Month website in the UK  that was caught espousing the notion that white people are “genetically defective mutants” has deleted the offensive article.

 

Although the site is not run officially by the British government, it is considered one of the most prominent websites to promote the event in the country and features content by British politicians who have pledged to support the event and “fight for racial justice.”

However, the website has a long history of publishing content that is racist against white people. The latest drama surrounds an article on the site about the work of American psychiatrist Frances Cress Welsing. She theorized that white people were actually what she termed “genetically defective mutants” who had been driven out of Africa by black natives there.

 

According to Welsing, once whites were expelled from the African continent, they turned to white supremacy and racism to protect their mutation.

Moreover, she said their lack of melanin, a skin pigment, was responsible for their deviation from morality.

 

She added that being black was “an established basis for moral, or more specially, normal human behaviour.”

 

After The Telegraph contacted the site for a comment for its investigation of the racist piece, they pulled the article in question. It can still be viewed on the Internet Archive, however, where the introduction boasts that Welsing is “the woman who redefined the discussion around Racism.”

 

However, the site continues to host other racially questionable articles, such as a 2020 piece by the Reach Society stating that “Europeans have been encouraged to be morally monstrous to non-Europeans for so long, this behaviour has become second nature.” It’s scary to think that this is the viewpoint of a group through which black professionals mentor young black boys; they have also received the Queen’s Award for Voluntary Service.

 

Articles posted on the site often appear alongside recruitment ads funded by taxpayers for the British Armed Forces, police services and government agencies, along with ads for several universities in the UK.

While a massive, society-shaking cultural movement based on statistics indicating the black community is disproportionately policed has been accepted and promoted by establishment media and government leaders over the last six years, data indicating that black people overwhelmingly would be left at a disadvantage by COVID-19 mandates has been entirely ignored by the very same facets of society.

It really is astounding — and highly concerning.

When members of the black community come up with a reason to be outraged without the support of well-funded progressive think tanks, they’re entirely on their own, aren’t they?

Such is the case with New York City’s vaccine passports, which have now received the vocal opposition of two polarizing figures on opposite ends of the political spectrum.

Over the weekend, former Georgia GOP congressional candidate Angela Stanton King, a niece of civil rights icon Martin Luther King Jr., spoke at an event in Brooklyn, denouncing COVID-19 vaccination mandates and the propaganda apparatus that is ignoring the objections of the minority community.

This comes just weeks after Black Lives Matter of Greater New York held a protest outside a Manhattan eatery after two black women allegedly assaulted the hostess who told them they could not enter without proof of vaccination, as per New York City ordinance.

The outspoken King was a vocal ally of then-President Donald Trump, while BLM of Greater New York founder Hawk Newsome once said that black people would “burn down the system” amid the 2020 George Floyd riots and called Jesus a “black revolutionary.”

 “Let me be very clear; I grew up in segregated, Birmingham, Alabama. I couldn’t go to a movie theater, or to a restaurant with my parents. I went to segregated schools till we moved to Denver. My parents never thought I was going to grow up in a world without prejudice, but they also told me, ‘That’s somebody else’s problem, not yours. You’re going to overcome it, and you are going to be anything you want to be.’ And that’s the message that I think we ought to be sending to kids.”

“One of the worries that I have about the way that we’re talking about race is that it either seems so big that somehow white people now have to feel guilty for everything that happened in the past,” Rice further emphasised.

“I don’t think that’s very productive,” she then declared, adding “Or black people have to feel disempowered by race. I would like black kids to be completely empowered, to know that they are beautiful in their blackness, but in order to do that, I don’t have to make white kids feel bad for being white. So white women with Master’s degrees have 83% as many babies as white women with only high school degrees. White women with even higher degrees than MA’s have slightly higher fertility.

But here’s the TFR for black women, which has fallen a lot since the exuberance of 1991, perhaps the peak crack year. Keep in mind that there are larger percentages of black women at the low end of the educational attainment scale than there are white women:

So black women with Master’s degrees have only 44% as many babies as black women with only high school degrees, compared to 83% for white women.

This is one reason blacks as a group haven’t made much progress over the last 40 or so years: each generation a lot more blacks are born and raised toward the bottom of the social scale than toward the top because well-educated black women aren’t very fertile. Black women who have made it up the ladder tend to be quite cautious about having babies, which is sensible of them on an individual basis. But for blacks as a whole, this low fertility among educated black women imposes a sizable dyscultural / dysgenic effect on the African-American population.

So much of the progress one generation of blacks makes is lost on the next generation.

This is an important phenomena, but it simply doesn’t occur to most 21st Century Americans to think about anymore. It sounds like “eugenics” and “calipers” and other scientifically discredited horrors.

The Co-opting of Activism by the State

It is no coincidence that another Soros funded activism group Black Lives Matter has diverted the spotlight away from the lockdown’s broader impact on the fundamental human rights of billions of people, using the reliable methods of divide and rule, to highlight the plight of specific strata’s of society, and not all.

It’s worth pointing out that BLM’s activity spikes every four years. Always prior to the elections in the US, as African Americans make up an important social segment of Democrat votes. The same Democrats who play both sides like any smart gambler would. The Clintons, for example, are investors into BLM”s partner, the anti-fascist ANTIFA. While Hilary Clinton’s mentor (and best friend) was former KKK leader Robert Byrd.

BLM is a massively hyped, TV-made, politicised event, that panders to the populist and escapist appetite of the people. Blinding them from their true call to arms in defence of the universal rights of everyone. Cashing in on the youths pent-up aggression (or post-lockdown syndrome). And weaponising the tiger locked in a rattled cage for 3-months, and unleashed by puppet masters as the mob.

The organisers of BLM make obvious their insincerity by omitting this crucial focal point on their banner, to a youth, whose precious freedoms have been hijacked more than most throughout the draconian lockdown operation. The ramifications of which are predicted to impact 135 million people in Africa and other developing countries, who are facing devastating biblical famines, as a humanitarian catastrophe looms, which BLM are not protesting.
