Developer Passer hoće u Pragu postaviti svjetski muzej Bibilije

 

 

Developer Radim Passer namjerava medju stambenim i administrativnim zgradama i hotelima u komp=élexu BB Centrum postaviti i Muzej Biblije. U arealu postoji već hrišćanska osnovna škola i hrišćanski vrtić za djecu, obdanište koje je izgradio takodjer on. Passer je postao praktikujućim hrišćanom (adventistom) 1998. godine kad mu je nekoliko mjeseci po rodjenju od teške bolesti umro prvorodjeni sin. Multimilijarder Passer spada u najbogatije češke preduzetnike i financijere.

‘Museum of the Bible’ in Prague?

 

 

 

Czech developer wants to stress biblical roots of European culture with museum, says the project would receive divine blessing in atheist Czech Republic

Prague, March 9, 2015 (ČTK) — Czech developer Radim Passer plans to build a “Museum of the Bible” in a building of 2,000 to 2,500 square meters as part of his BB Centrum in Prague in five to seven years, he told the Czech News Agency today.

"The museum would map mankind's history from the point of view of the Bible, as well as the history and various exhibits of this book of books. I believe that this could bring great moral enlightenment to both schools and other visitors," Passer said.

He said the museum would remind people that European culture has grown up on Christian bases and would inform people about the Bible, including into which world languages it has been translated.

It will also target foreign tourists, Passer said.

"I have not yet heard about anything like this existing in the world. I believe that God will bless such a thing," Passer said, adding that he found inspiration in discussions with a person from northern Moravia.

The project is to be not-for-profit, Passer said and added that he is not afraid of the widespread atheism among Czechs.

He said this is due to the mistrust of the Church, for which mainly the Christians themselves are responsible.

"In principle, people do not have any problem with the Bible; they do not have any problem with God, but they have a problem with how the Church, through its activity and behavior, has painted him," Passer said.

"My life experience is that where people meet an undistorted picture of the character of the loving God, no one has any problem with such a God," Passer said.

Passer has been building the BB Centrum for 20 years. It now contains offices, flats, a Christian elementary school and a kindergarten, a social center, and fitness and wellness centers.
