Orthodox Celts – Green Roses

At the crack of the dawn thunder and lightning crossed the way

The shadow of knight waited to see the bright light of the day

Nobody saw his bitter tears through the dark veil of rain

The river of blood under his feet run wild again and again

The green roses will grow

While green fields turn to red

Only memory remains

Of hero and his faith

He just stood and he stared with a sword in his hand

Under the bridge of rainbow’s gold he fought for his land

The black crow stole his destiny and flew from the cross

Flyin’ high, goin’ so far to take his soul away

U cik zore, munja i grom put presekoše

Senka viteza svetlo dana čekaše

Kroz taj crni kišni veo njegove suze niko nije video

Reka krvi pod njegovim nogama opet je tekla ludo

Zelene ruže će rasti

Dok zelena polja crvena postaju

Samo sećanja ostaju

Na heroja i njegovu veru

On je samo sa mačem u ruci stajao i zurio

Ispod mosta duginog blaga za svoju zemlju se borio

Crna vrana sudbinu mu je ukrala i sa krsta odletela

Letela visoko, njegovu dušu odnela daleko
