Kiril performing live at the Exit Music Festival in Novi Sad, Serbia on July 12, 2008, Converse

Fusion Stage. With a live band including special guests Gaea (NY) and macedonian brass

band Sercuk Orchestra.

On the Converse Fusion stage last year Exit welcomed the "Tchaikovsky" of the 21st century,

Macedonian musician and composer, Kiril.

This time Kiril brought to Exit material from his new album, music from previous albums

"Homebound" and "Religion & Sex", exclusive remixes of scores from the films "Dust", "The

Great Water" and "Bel-Can-Can".

Kiril started his career in the early 80's with the first Macedonian electro-band Bastion he

performed with Milc Mancevski, who later became a famous film director. After that he

recorded two albums with famous countrymen "Leb i Sol" with whom he performed across

the whole of Europe. In the early 90's he moved to Australia where he continued to make

music, combining ethno Macedonian sounds with electronica which led to the release of his

first solo album "Synthetic Theatre" which gained great popularity on the radio stations of this

small continent. Kiril used a similar concept on his next album, "Homebound" which was

released in 2000 in America by the label Tone Casualties. The album received good reviews

in the USA, Canada, Great Britain, Spain, Japan... Croatian Playboy magazine proclaimed

"Homebound" as album of the year in the Ex-YU region and on the single for "Primitive

Science" remixes appeared done by Bushwacka, Subsonic Legacy and Dreadzone.

The Led Zeppelin & The Doors live performance was recorded

in the Gladsaxe Teen Club, Denmark, on 17th March 1969,

when the embyonic Zep did a Scandinavian tour

to fulfil the obligations left by the break-up of the Yardbirds.

The recording was made by Danmarks Radio (Denmark Radio).

The full 4-song set is included on the official Zep DVD released in 2003
