Britanske rokenrol legende objaviće novi album, a u pripremi je i još jedan mjuzikl, piše britanska štampa.

Grupa Queen priprema novi album, na kojem će se naći i pesme snimljene sa čuvenim frontmenom Fredijem Merkjurijem, koji je preminuo 1991. godine.

Gitarista Brajan Mej potvrdio je da će grupa te pesme uvrstiti na svoje novo izdanje.

"Postoji gomila materijala snimljena sa Fredijem, koja je godinama bila 'na tavanu'. Znali smo da ćemo jednom objaviti te pesme, samo je bilo pitanje trenutka", rekao je Mej.

Queen priprema i novi mjuzikl, koji će "naslediti" ostvarenje "We will rock you" premijerno izvedeno u londonskom teatru Dominion u maju 2002. godine.

New Queen Album to Feature Unreleased Freddie Mercury Tracks?

Remaining Queen members Brian May and Roger Taylor are working on a new album, with vocals by the late Freddie Mercury. How is this possible? May said the musicians are going through a ton of unreleased demos to put together a slew of new tracks, according to Ultimate Classic Rock.

It will be the first Queen album with contributions from Mercury since 1995’s Made in heaven, which also was assembled using recordings Freddie had made before his death in 1991.

In addition, May told the Daily Star that he and Taylor are preparing a new Queen musical to follow-up 2002’s We Will Rock You. “The songs are there,” May said, “it’s just a question of finding time to get the right production.”

And that’s not all that’s going on with Queen. On November 6, the rock legends will receive the Global Icon award at the MTV European Music Awards. It’s not clear who will sing with the band, although May has suggested that he’d love to work with Lady Gaga.

Queen Announce New Album Of Lost Freddie Mercury Demo’s

Queen guitarist Brian May has announced the band plan to release a new album featuring lost demo’s. According to The Daily Star May and drummer Roger Taylor are looking through their back catalog of old and unfinished demo’s featuring the late singer Freddie Mercury who died back in 1991.

“As well as seeing what we can unearth, we want to do a new musical to follow We Will Rock You. The songs are there, it’s just a question of finding time to get the right production.” May said.

This year marks Mercury’s 65th birthday and celebrities, fellow musicians and even Google paid their respects to one of the most exciting frontman rock music has seen.

The band are re-releasing their entire back catalog of albums to mark the bands 40th anniversary and drummer Roger Taylor is spearheading the Queen Extravaganza, a nationwide talent search to pull together the ultimate Queen cover band. Check out our previous post here for full details!

Dueti kralja popa i Queena naredne godine

Dueti koje su pre dvadesetak godina snimili Fredi Merkjuri i Majkl Džekson biće objavljeni naredne godine.

Gitarista grupe Queen Brajan Mej otkrio je da će naredne godine biti objavljeno nekoliko dueta koje su dvojica najuticajnijioh muzičara prošlog veka snimili još pre 20 godina.

"Majkl nas je posećivao dok smo bili na turneji po Americi osamdesetih godina pa su se on i Fredi jako zbližili i postali dobri prijatelji. Bili su toliko dobri da su u Majklovoj kući snimili nekoliko pesama koje nikada nisu objavljene", rekao je Brajan.

Na pitanje kada će pesme biti objavljene, on je kratko odgovorio: "Naredne godine i za to imamo i podršku porodice Džekson".

Grupa naredne godine planira i da objavi novi album na kojem će se naći demo snimci i pesme koje nisuobjavljivane ranije, a pevao ih je Fredi. Datum izlaska ovog albuma još uvek nije poznat.
